CAD DESIGN

Full engine, subsystem or single component design, from a simple oil pan to a complex cylinder head with integrated exhaust manifold, our designs follow industry best practices, which, together with our proprietary design system, guarantee you and your partners the shortest CAD time. Thanks to our deep understanding of the industrial processes, Design for Manufacturing is for us the most natural approach to our solutions, avoiding unnecessary design mistakes at late development stages and, therefore, avoiding expensive development costs.

PORT DEVELOPMENT

Together with some of the top European universities we have developed a proprietary port development methodology, which guarantees the best flow properties of both intake and exhaust ports for gasoline and diesel engines, both turbocharged and naturally aspirated. With our methodology we eliminate the otherwise strong dependency of tumble generation on valve inclination, giving the best port performance while keeping cylinder head dimensions and weight at a minimum level. 

CFD SIMULATIONS

Our CFD simulation expertise spans all ranges within engine development, both 1D and 3D: cooling system, lubrication system, water pump and oil pump layout, gas exchange, mixture formation and fuel injector targeting. For this we use all industry standard 1D and 3D software.

FEM SIMULATIONS

We cover all areas of structural calculations, from single load cases, to high and low cycle fatigue of base engine, together with thermo-mechanical calculations of cylinder head and block. Furthermore we can also perform multi-body simulations of valvetrain and cranktrain.
